Mesut Ozil has spoken on his possible destination if he does leave the Emirates stadium this summer.
The 28-year-old has been linked with a move away from Arsenal following his decision to delay talks over a contract extension.
With only a year left on his deal, the club could be forced into selling Ozil this summer, four years after his switch from Real Madrid.
And according to the midfielder, a return to Germany is hard to rule out at the moment because that is what his family would prefer.
“Return to he Bundesliga? I don’t want to exclude that.” Ozil was quoted as saying by the Daily Star
“Many family members – my mother especially – would welcome it if I were closer to home.
“I still have a year on my contract and I love this club [Arsenal].
“At the moment, everything is still open.”
