One of Arsenal’s key defenders has revealed that he actually has plans of leaving the club in the near future.

The Gunners have been busy signing players in the transfer market this summer but the club has also not been afraid to get rid of certain players who are no longer a vital part of the squad.

One player whose future at the club has recently been put into doubt is Laurent Koscielny, especially after the arrival of Sokratis Papastathopoulos.

Indeed, the Frenchman has revealed that he is planning on saying goodbye to the club when his contracts expires.

“I’m under contract until June 2020.” the defender said

“Afterwards? I’m thinking of moving on, but I do not know where.

“This is not relevant anyway. I am in England, my family too. Then there will inevitably be a lot of question marks.

“The bottom line is to have health. I learned to revitalise because there are so many more serious things in life.”
