Arsenal now willing to agree £45m deal to sign quality 24-year-old star

Arsene Wenger appears to be pursuing a deal to secure the services of another attacker in the wake of the exit of Alexis Sanchez. 

Ahead of the January transfer window, the Arsenal manager was rumoured to be chasing a host of players who would be able to replace want-way star Sanchez.

And following the departure of the Chilean forward, the likes of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang were brought in to re-strengthen the squad.

However, Wenger appears to be keen on adding more talented attackers to his options ahead of next season.

Thus, the Daily Mail are now claiming that the Gunners have stepped up their chase of Olympique Lyonnais’ star Nabil Fekir, who is claimed to be Wenger’s main transfer target for the summer.

Arsenal did business with the Ligue 1 side not too long ago as Alexandre Lacazette was purchased last summer in a then club-record deal.

And according to the latest report, the Gunners are now willing to reach an agreement with Lyon over the £45million fee they are demanding for Fekir.

The 24-year-old has been in brilliant form in France this season and his arrival before the World Cup begins will certainly be Arsenal’s priority.
