The Gunners have reportedly have made an enquiry for Real Betis star Nabil Fekir as they eye a possible deal to sign the midfielder in the summer transfer window.

The Frenchman, who completed a move to Spain last summer, and has managed to rack up seven goals and six assists in 23 games thus far this season.

According to the Daily Star, Arsenal were offered the opportuinity to sign Ferkir – who is valued at £36million – last summer but the club rather chose to pursue a loan deal for Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos instead.

However, following a relatively underwhelming campaign for the Spaniard, who will return to Madrid at the end of his loan spell, the Daily Star claims that Arsenal are now lining up a move for Nabil Fekir.

The report also states that Arsenal have sent out scouts to watch the playmaker on several occasions this season as Mikel Arteta looks to bolster his midfield after the exit of Ceballos happens.
