Aubameyang reacts to criticism from Arsenal fans with one strong tweet
Arsenal striker Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang has responded to criticism from fans for his performance against Chelsea on Saturday.
The former Borussia Dortmund star was in prolific form for Arsenal after his move to the club during the January transfer window as he finished last season as the team’s top scorer for the second half of the campaign.
Aubameyang’s brilliant scoring form continued during his first pre-season for the Gunners as he scored several goals over the summer tour.
However, the 29-year-old is yet to get off the mark so far this season after failing to score in the first two games.
Aubameyang missed a gilt-edged opportunity to score against Chelsea on Saturday and unlike Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Alex Iwobi, he did not score to make up for his blushes.
The Gabon international was bashed on Twitter by several Arsenal fans over his profligacy in the game at Stamford Bridge but he had a positive message on social media nonetheless.
Today i missed tomorrow Must Be better !!
