Arsenal’s chances of securing a positive result from the upcoming north London derby against Tottenham Hotspur appear to have been damaged by the latest injury news.
The Gunners are set to host their fierce local rivals after the international break with both teams very much aware that dropping any more points will be detrimental to their title hopes.
Tottenham’s last trip to a member of the so-called ‘big six’ saw them lose 1-0 to Manchester United in the absence of their talismanic goalscorer Harry Kane.
However, Mauricio Pochettino has now confirmed that the 24-year-old will be fit to face Arsenal next weekend after recently being sidelined by injury.
The availability of Kane will certainly be worrying news for the Gunners due to the England international’s prolific record in this fixture.
“Harry Kane is okay.” the Tottenham manager said
“You can see in the last game he received a kick to his knee but he will be available for the next game.”
