David Ornstein: Arsenal star wants to leave, ‘doesn’t anticipate playing for Gunners again’
BBC journalist David Ornstein has revealed that the Gunners are likely to say goodbye to another defender this summer, apart from Shkodran Mustafi.
Unai Emery’s side finished last season with one of the worst defensive records out all of the top six sides in the Premier League, as they failed to secure a spot in the Champions League for next season.
With Shkodran Mustafi already linked with an exit (BBC), the Gunners appear to be on course to get rid of another defender as Laurent Koscinely plots his own departure.
According to BBC journalist David Ornstein, Koscielny is aggressively seeking a move away from the Emirates stadium, after already missing the club’s pre-season tour.
The Arsenal skipper is reportedly not interested in playing for the club again and the Gunners have begun conversations over his possible departure.
