A majority of the Arsenal faithful are welcoming Arsene Wenger’s latest signing with open arms.
Arsenal have only secured one addition so far following former Schalke full-back Sead Kolasinac’s move on a free transfer.
But that is expected to change by the end of this week when Alexandre Lacazette’s arrival from Lyon will make it two new signings heading into pre-season.
The 26-year-old, who scored 37 goals in all competitions last term, has reportedly agreed to sign a five-year contract with the Gunners.
Lacazette’s move to the Emirates stadium will also make him the most expensive signing in the club’s history.
And the news of him joining Arsenal has been greeted with excitement from most fans…
Welcome Lacazette. No pressure buddy, but if you could win us the league, that'd be great. #Arsenal

Özil, Sanchez, Mustafi, Xhaka & Lacazette. It is almost as if the club has money to spend after years of struggle. Who would have known?

And from rival fans….
A bit gutted that Lacazette joins Arsenal. Always thought he'd be great for us
