‘Needs to start every game’: Some fans loved this Arsenal star vs Newcastle
Some Arsenal supporters were in awe of the display from the Gunners’ key attacker on the day as they saw off Newcastle 4-0 at the Emirates stadium.
Arsenal returned from their trip to Dubai, knowing that nothing but an almost-perfect run of results for the rest of the season is now required for any hopes of finishing in the top four of the Premier League to be maintained.
Mikel Arteta has not hesitated to drop Nicolas Pepe on certain occasions but the Arsenal boss kept faith in the Ivory Coast international for the clash with Newcastle United on Sunday.
Even though Pepe has produced some brilliant moments this season, his hefty price tag means far more is being required of him by the fans.
With his side in need of a spark, the former Ligue 1 star set up the opening goal from Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang in the second half before going on to grab another assist and a goal.
It was a display which saw Pepe receive many praises after the final whistle…
Pepe needs to start every game from now until the end of the season. We really lack somebody who can drive the ball from midfield to the forward line. Saka’s skill and his goal was fantastic!!

What a game! Pepe MOTM for me, excellent performance from start to finish. Auba & Ceballos brilliant, Özil weaving his magic in the shadows and Saka outstanding as well. Special mention to @m8arteta , we finally have our Arsenal back 🔴⚪️

And I've always said it, once Pepe gets into his groove, there will be no stopping him.
Could have easily had four assists against Newcastle.— Amoh (@Ngaithe_) February 17, 2020
