Cesc laughs off Fab-ricated talks

By Randy Osae

http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3016/2940411478_a1e3861d6c.jpg?v=0Right after Arsenal’s resilient showing against Everton, the illogical media opted to create some fiery atmosphere among the Arsenal faithful after the team resumed normal form at last.

Newspapers claimed Cesc Fabregas had snubbed a £90,000-a-week contract offer from the club to look elsewhere at potential recruiters Real Madrid and Barcelona. As dubious as the report was, there was no quote what so ever from Fabregas himself in that article, and the Spaniard has yet again wasted little time to clean the slate.

To make his clarification more official, Fabregas told no other news source but the most trust-worthy out there – the club’s official site. And that’s another warning to those silly journalists.
“A newspaper report suggesting that I have rejected a new contract is untrue,” Fabregas told the club’s official website.

“The article is just mischief-making.

“Everybody knows I have a long-term contract and that I am happy here. I’m focused on doing my best for Arsenal.”
