Before much of the transfer business begins this summer, it has been confirmed that one of the Gunners’ current loanees will not be able to secure another year on loan at the same club.

Under Arsene Wenger, Arsenal made a few buys in the transfer market which do not appear to have paid off in the long run, especially after the exit of the Frenchman at the end of last season.

The former Arsenal manager was the man who was responsible for the signing of players like Takuma Asano, who is yet to play in a competitive game in the Gunners’ shirt, since his move to the club almost three years ago.

The 24-year-old spent last season on loan at Hannover 96, but after another underwhelming spell away from the Emirates stadium, it has been made clear that he will be sent back to London.

The German club has confirmed that Asano will be allowed to return to Arsenal after rejecting the option to buy in the player’s loan deal.
