Club announces transfer agreement with Arsenal after player’s medical on Thursday
Arsene Wenger has finally initiated his clear out of players who will not be part of his plans for the new season
The Arsenal manager made it clear after last week’s victory over Leicester City that he was considering the sale of a few players to trim down his squad.
And one man who looked set for a departure was Gabriel, following two years of inconsistent displays at the Emirates stadium.
After saying goodbye to his Arsenal teammates, the 26-year-old arrived in Spain to undergo his medical ahead of a Valencia move on Thursday.
And on Friday, Valencia announced that an agreement had been reached with the Gunners over the transfer of Gabriel.
