Concern for Emery as key Arsenal star suffers injury blow on international break
Arsenal manager Unai Emery has been given a little bit of a concern over the fitness of one of his key midfielders during the international break.
The new Arsenal boss has been troubled with injuries to key players in his first season at the club after replacing Arsene Wenger almost a year ago.
Emery has watched his side improve their form in recent months after a slump which had seen them drop out of the top four of the Premier League.
One man who has certainly contributed to the Gunners’ progress in the second half of the season is Aaron Ramsey, a player who is set to leave the Emirates stadium at the end of the campaign.
Wales boss Ryan Giggs recently revealed that Ramsey has suffered a thigh problem and on Saturday, the Welsh FA confirmed that the injury was serious enough to force the midfielder to withdraw form the squad.
Ramsey is now back in London for treatment and Emery will be hoping the Welshman will not be set for another long spell on the sidelines.
