Dani Ceballos posts an ironic message after playing in Vitoria game
Midfielder Dani Ceballos ironically posted a message in delight of the ‘point away’ which was earned by the Gunners in the frustrating draw against Vitoria on Wednesday.
The Spaniard was signed by Arsenal on loan from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window as Unai Emery looked to replace departed midfielder Aaron Ramsey.
Even though Ceballos received a lot of plaudits after his Emirates stadium debut against Burnley back in August, he has struggled to impress in the past couple of months.
The Spanish midfielder featured on Wednesday as the Gunners could only manage to secure a draw against Vitoria.
Even though Shkodran Mustafi’s goal gave the away side the lead with only a few minutes left in the game, Arsenal still went on to concede an equalizer from the Portuguese minnows.
It is another result which has left most fans questioning the future of Unai Emery but ironically, Ceballos took to Twitter to suggest that the draw at Vitoria was a good outcome.
🔴⚪️We couldn't get the victory, but it's one more point away getting us closer to our goal. Let's go Gunners!💪💪
🔴⚪️Se nos escapó la victoria. Pero es un punto más fuera de casa que nos acerca al objetivo. Vamos gunners!💪💪@Arsenal #EuropaLeague #Gunners #Ceballos8 pic.twitter.com/PklKOnO6k8
