BBC Sport journalist David Ornstein is reporting that the Gunners’ main transfer target this summer, ‘wants’ to complete a move to the Emirates stadium.

Unai Emery has been handed very limited funds to improve his squad with, after the Spaniard’s failure to secure a return to the Champions League for the club in his first season as manager.

It is now clear that the Arsenal boss is interested in bringing Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha to the Emirates stadium, following a shortage of quality wingers in his squad over the course of last season.

The 26-year-old, who is earning £130,000-a-week in wages, is indeed keen on joining Arsenal this summer, according to a claim by David Ornstein.

Palace’s star goalscorer apparently ‘wants to join Arsenal’ and the BBC journalist went on to add that the Gunners’ offer is set to be rejected as Arsenal look to somehow recruit the winger, despite being on a very tight budget.
