David Ornstein has revealed when a decision is expected to be made over the future of one of Mikel Arteta’s forwards, after a week into the January transfer window.

Under Unai Emery, the Gunners made sure to ditch a couple of players last summer while others were given the permission to go out on loan for more playing time elsewhere.

Eddie Nketiah, who has mostly been in promising form for Arsenal when called upon, was initially loaned out to Monday’s FA Cup opponents, Leeds United, at the start of the season.

However, after an erratic spell with the second division outfit, the 20-year-old has been recalled from his loan spell.

Arsenal appear to be set for another move to send the attacker out on loan again and journalist David Ornstein has revealed a decision will be made over that on Tuesday.

According to Ornstein, Bristol City, Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Wednesday are in the race to sign Nketiah, with a final move ‘expected’ on Tuesday.
