Several Arsenal fans have voiced their frustration over the performance of Danny Welbeck during last weekend’s defeat to Stoke City.

Arsene Wenger’s men lost ground in the title race on Saturday as the Potters inflicted a 1-0 loss on them while league leaders Manchester United thrashed Swansea City.

The match saw the Arsenal manager make a few tactical changes to his starting line-up but Welbeck retained his role alongside Alexandre Lacazette in attack.

And that decision from Wenger hardly paid off as Olivier Grioud was forced to be introduced in the latter stages of the game as Stoke kept a clean-sheet against the Gunners.

Most fans have expressed their frustration following the loss which handed Arsenal an early set-back in their pursuit of the Premier League title.

And much of the blame has been thrown in Danny Welbeck’s direction…
