Arsenal forward Theo Walcott took to Twitter to post a honest message ahead of the clash with Chelsea in the semi-finals of the League Cup.

The English man has endured a frustrating campaign so far which has seen him drop to a second string role in the Arsenal first team.

Walcott was called upon by Arsene Wenger on Sunday as the Gunners travelled to Nottingham Forest in the third round of the FA Cup.

It turned out to be a disappointing night for Wenger’s men as they somehow succumbed to a 4-2 defeat against the lower league outfit.

And Walcott, who was certainly not at his best in the cup tie, has been bashed by more fans and pundits following the FA Cup elimination.

Ahead of Wednesday night’s clash with Chelsea in the Carabao Cup, the 28-year-old has admitted on Twitter that he was not happy with what happened on Sunday.
