‘Drop him from the squad permanently’: Some fans attack Arsenal star after Wolves draw

Some Arsenal fans took to social media to attack one of the players who featured in midfield during the draw at home to Wolves in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The Gunners have been struggling in the Premier League for a while now and Saturday presented another chance for Unai Emery’s side to bounce back after being dumped out of the League Cup by Liverpool on Wednesday night.

Emery, who is often bashed by fans for failing to select the right team, decided to name Dani Ceballos in his starting eleven after the Spaniard’s forgettable display away at Anfield.

The midfielder once looked like a player whom the Gunners would be desperate to purchase from Real Madrid but over the past two months, his form has really suffered.

Ceballos, who is on loan at the club for the rest of the season, failed to impress most of the Arsenal fans once again on Saturday.

Dani Ceballos is not good enough. Thank god we only loaned him with no obligation to buy. Certain players are just not cut for the premier league. He is the perfect example of that. Very fragile. Easily bullied. Only thing he offers is a half decent drop of the shoulder.

Ceballos dropped a 0/10 performance. Constantly jogging, no urgency to attack, no urgency to defend. All he can do is spin and a single step over at a time.
But it’s okay because he’s not Gran it Xhaka.
