‘Drop him and sell him now’ – Fans attack Arsenal star after draw against West Brom

Arsenal fans have not been afraid to air their views on social media after watching the disappointing draw against West Brom on Sunday evening.

Arsene Wenger’s men were put under pressure to not drop any more points at the Hawthorns after watching rivals Chelsea and Liverpool win on Saturday.

And after a free-kick from Alexis Sanchez was deflected into the net in the dying minutes, the Gunners looked to have done enough to secure the three points.

However, West Brom were awarded a controversial penalty-kick at the other end as they snatched a 1-1 draw.

It was not the most enjoyable night for Petr Cech as he failed to keep a clean-sheet for the third game in a row in the Premier League.

The former Chelsea goalkeeper is yet to save a penalty kick he has faced in a competitive match since joining the Gunners.

And that, in addition to his form this season, has seen fans now calling for his permanent departure.
