Midfielder completes Arsenal medical
Thomas Eisfeld is now odds on to be unveiled as Arsenal’s latest – and perhaps solitary buy – of the January transfer window which closes today.
The German midfielder attracted interest from the Gunners at the beginning of the week and it now appears his club Borussia Dortmund have agreed to allow his departure.
Eisfeld arrived in London yesterday with his agent Reza Fazeli to undergo a medical at Arsenal’s training ground.
And the latest developments suggest that the youngster has indeed passed that process at London Colney and is on the verge of putting pen to paper for the Gunners.

According to reliable BBC journalist David Ornstein, the 19-year-old midfielder is now awaiting the completion of the vital paperwork which will seal his move to the Emirates stadium.
“Eisfeld to Arsenal (is) done deal, just awaiting paperwork. Myaichi (sic) will leave on loan & 1 other exit (not a big name) expected” Ornstein said on ‘twitter’ earlier today, hinting at Ryo Miyaichi’s loan move to Bolton ahead of time.
With only second string action at Dortmund under his belt, Eisfeld – who plays as an attacking midfielder – may come across as a typical ‘unknown’ recruit from Arsene Wenger.
But then again, very few Arsenal players were big name players when they arrived at the club.

I said the SAME thing to my mate. But Bischoff had ridiculous injury and fitness problems. This guy has had his share of injuries but he’s in good physical shape and won’t need our gym to loose weight like Bischoff did.
I’m not doubting this transfer yet, i’m excited because Germany has the best young talent now in world football, lets see how good our scouting network is.

We all know we can’t compete with the financial might of Chelsea or Man City has right now but why does it seems that Wenger really trying to ruin the club by not getting quality, proven, world class players?
I mean there’re plenty of decent young German players in Bundesliga, but why getting an unproven, surely be on the medical room player like Eisfeld ? I mean Schalke’s Holtby is a decent player, why don’t we get him then? Why must we get this guaranteed to be playing in the reserves when we should have getting backup for Wilshere, Van Persie and another left back ? Hey what about those two former Barca players? Are they any good for the first team then?
Does Wenger even cares about the club anymore? Or is he eyeing a job in Monaco? cuz they’ve just been bought by a Russian Billionaire and surely there’s plenty of money to be spend then.
I can only say this now. Eisfeld is will be exactly or much worse than Bischoff.
