Emery eyeing move to sign this 21-year-old with two other new signings
Arsenal manager Unai Emery is claimed to be eyeing a move to sign one of Scottish football’s most promising talents.
The Arsenal manager was not able to spend at all during the January transfer window with the club settling for a loan deal which saw Denis Suarez move to the Emirates stadium from Barcelona.
However, Emery is now claimed to be targeting three new signings in the summer and he would like Celtic defender Kieran Tierney to be one of them.
According to the Mirror, the 21-year-old is now being pursued by the Gunners ahead of the post-season transfer window.
The report further states that Tierney is also being chased by fellow Premier League side Leicester City.
The promising young defender is likely to choose Arsenal over the Foxes but with Tierney tied to a contract with Celtic until 2023, the Scottish club might demand a premium fee to sell the player this summer.
