Theo Walcott’s reputation as a much-maligned figure for most Arsenal fans appears to be gradually changing for the better this season.

The former Southampton player scored his 100th goal in club football which came at a very desperate time for Arsenal who were trailing 1-0 to Stoke City at home.

Walcott’s equalizer set the tone for Mesut Ozil and Alex Iwobi to find the back of the net in the second half as Arsene Wenger’s men defeated Mark Hughes’ side 3-1 in a tricky affair.

The 27-year-old recently claimed that his wife had promised to buy him a coffee machine – to help stay awake after the birth of their new child – as long as Walcott manages to score 10 goals this season.

And after finally reaching that tally through that strike on Saturday, several Arsenal fans were quick to remind the forward about what his wife owes him now.
