Several Arsenal fans had rave reviews for Alexandre Lacazette after his display in the 2-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
The Gunners managed to return to winning ways courtesy of a blistering show in the first half which saw them beat their north London rivals in the league for the first time since 2014.
Arsenal’s clash with Mauricio Pochettino’s men was an opportunity for Alexandre Lacazette to reclaim a place in the starting line-up after being dropped against Manchester City to the surprise of many.
And the 26-year-old certainly did not fail to impress as he unselfishly set up the vital second goal for Alexis Sanchez on stroke of halftime.
Lacazette’s show did not last the entire 90 minutes, as he was substituted by Wenger in the second half but his performance left most fans satisfied even though some are wondering why he is frequently withdrawn from games.
Alexandre Lacazette. Showing Arsenal fans what class general play on a number 9 looks like for the first time in five years.

Lacazette has said that he hopes people in France can "get over the old Lacazette perception that I was a bit of a lazy striker who didn't work for the team". I think anyone who watched the Spurs game knows that.

Like most Arsenal fans, I thought Lacazette would complete 90 mins because Giroud isn't fit. Turns out the issue isn't Giroud's fitness but Lacazette's. Man was out of it after the 64th minute.
