Fans react to Arsenal agreeing transfer move for 25-year-old

The Arsenal faithful has reacted to Arsene Wenger’s latest move in his mission to trim down his squad before the transfer window is closed.

Arsenal suffered their first defeat in the Premier League on Saturday, sparking more frustration over the manager’s transfer business at both ends this summer.

Wenger has admitted in recent weeks that his intent is to offload players who are not being used regularly in order to create room for a potential new addition.

On Monday, the Arsenal boss ditched another out-of-favour star as Carl Jenkinson finally completed a loan move to Birmingham City.

And the 25-year-old’s temporary departure has certainly been greeted with a delightful reaction from most Arsenal fans…

No idea why we’ve sent Jenkinson on loan. Surely selling now would’ve been the better choice.
