‘Sad to see’: Some fans react to Arsenal midfielder officially completing exit
Several Arsenal fans took to social media to react to the fact that one of their favourite players in the Arsenal squad officially left the club on July 1.
After moving to the Emirates stadium in 2008, Aaron Ramsey made a name for himself as one of the few midfielders in the Arsenal team, who were capable of scoring when it mattered.
At this time last year, there were rumours over whether the Welshman would sign a new contract to remain in north London, but the club later made it clear that he would not be offered a new deal.
As a result, Ramsey was left to see out the final year of his contract, with an injury in the Europa League clash away to Napoli ending his season earlier than expected.
Nonetheless, the midfielder was still officially an Arsenal player until today, since his contract with the club only expired after the last day of June.
On Monday morning, Ramsey took to social media to upload a few changes to share with the world that the date July 1 meant of course that he was now officially a Juventus player.
So sad to see from an Arsenal perspective but good luck @aaronramsey you deserve it, win the champs league this season won’t ya!

Weird to see you in black and white, Aaron. You still remain a Gooner playing for the Old Lady. #COYG
