Fans react to Arsenal’s 1-0 win over West Brom on Twitter

Arsenal secured their first win in three Premier League games on Monday courtesy of a late header from Olivier Giroud.
The Gunners welcomed Tony Pulis’ side to the Emirates stadium on the back of two disappointing results against Everton and Manchester City.
So it was certainly not a surprise to see West Brom frustrate Arsene Wenger’s men for much of the game with goalkeeper Ben Foster in outstanding form.
However, Olivier Giroud, who had replaced Theo Walcott in the starting line-up, came up with the goods right at the end as his looping header finally found the back of the net.
It was a much-needed victory for a struggling Arsenal team especially with league leaders Chelsea securing their 12th win in a row.
And here were the reactions on Twitter…
Well done Arsenal. Put up a good fight. Didn't give up. Happy for Giroud. Couldn't imagine the hatred that was waiting had we bottled this.

Took the points in the end, but hardly a tactical masterclass. Impotent starting 11 and 70min subs. Thank god it was West Brom. #afc

Ahhhh, what a feeling. Wanted to smash my computer in for 86 minutes before that handsome bastard showed up. Thank you based Giroud

And from Manchester United fans….
Late Arsenal goal a bit annoying, but 4 wins in a row. Playing well. Mkhitaryan and Pogba are so exciting to watch.

Pity Arsenal got that late goal. We're on form, just need some of the others to drop points. Ibra, Pogba and Miky all excellent today
