Granit Xhaka has won a few more plaudits from the Arsenal faithful after his performance in the 4-0 victory over Swansea City.
The Gunners made sure they remained just about in the hunt for the Premier League title by putting four goals past a struggling Swansea City side on Saturday.
With Mohamed Elneny currently on African Cup of Nations duty while Francis Coquelin nurses an injury, Granit Xhaka has been one of the first names on the Arsenal team sheet.
The Switzerland international received much criticism for his performance in the Gunners’ last league outing against Bournemouth which saw him give away a penalty kick.
However, the negative reactions reduced after Saturday’s show at the Liberty stadium.
Here were the tweets….
Another 90 minutes for Xhaka today, he's become Arsene's main man in midfield now it seems.

Will go unseen but Granit Xhaka played deeper allowing Ramsey to go forward more. #positive

You won't like this but Xhaka-Ramsey pivot have played 312 minutes together we've scored 13 goals (one every 24 minutes) & conceded 2.

When Granit Xhaka is taking shots for fun, you know you are quite comfortable in the game. #SWAARS

Granit Xhaka looking a bit too suspect for me.Think he works better when he has another holding midfielder next to him.
