Playing for Arsenal at the Emirates stadium is still a dream for many young players despite the team’s disappointing form in recent weeks.
Kelechi Nwakali, who joined the Gunners last summer, is yet to feature for his new club after failing to receive a work permit.
Thus, the Nigerian forward has vowed to ‘work hard’ in order to reach his goal of playing for Arsene Wenger’s first team one day.
“I’m not the one who will decide what happens but all I can do is work hard and let the boss see that. If Arsenal decide that next season they want me to play in Arsenal, no problem.” he told Goal.com
“If they decide they want me to come back to London, it’s still no problem. They have to make their choice and I will respect it.
“I think Nigeria have the most Arsenal fans in the world because of Kanu. I know they [the fans] are expecting to see me play in Emirates Stadium and I promise them I will work hard to get fulfill their expectations.”
