Gary Lineker raves about one Arsenal star who is a ‘master of his craft’
BBC pundit Gary Lineker has raved about the man who scored twice for Arsenal as they secured an important 3-2 win over Everton in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The Gunners went into Sunday’s clash with the Toffees on the back of a rare pair of wins which had seen them thrash Newcastle 4-0 at home before doing the job on the road by beating Olympiacos 1-0 in the Europa League.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta decided to drop Thursday night’s match winner Alexandre Lacazette from his starting eleven but the Frenchman’s colleague Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang was certainly retained in the team.
After a frustrating start to the season, Aubameyang’s future at the club has been placed into doubt but the former Dortmund star is definitely not letting that disrupt his form on the pitch.
The Gabon international scored yet another goal in the first half to give Arsenal their first lead of the game against Everton, before heading home the winning goal early in the second half.
It was yet another superb show from Aubameyang and Gary Lineker took to Twitter to rave about the striker.
According to Lineker, the Arsenal captain really is a ‘master of his craft’.
There are some players that when they’re one-on-one with the keeper, you just know they’ll score. @Aubameyang7 is one of them. Master of his craft.
