Much of the Arsenal faithful have continued to express their dissatisfaction with the performances of several players in the 2-1 defeat in the Europa League on Thursday.

The Gunners are once again facing severe scrutiny after what was certainly a surprising result at the Emirates stadium on Thursday.

Arsene Wenger’s men did well to thrash Ostersund 3-0 in the first leg of the Europa League tie last week and many expected that to repeat in the return leg.

However, the opposite of that is what happened as the barely known side from Sweden won 2-1 at the Emirates stadium.

Danny Welbeck was given another chance to stake his claim for a regular place in the team as Arsene Wenger handed him a rare start on Thursday.

But, judging from the reactions of most fans on social media, the performance of the former Manchester United star was certainly not one to be encouraged by.
