Goal! Arsenal youngster scores fantastic free-kick on Tuesday to alert Wenger
The Arsenal first team may be dealing with sheer turbulence at the moment, but the same cannot be said of the club’s youth team.
This is gradually becoming the least memorable season from Arsenal under Arsene Wenger following an erratic campaign which sees the club sitting outside of the top four of the Premier League while rivals Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City make progress.
But on the bright side, the Gunners may have better talent to flow into the first team in the near future.
The club’s Under-18 team managed to thrash Colchester 5-1 to secure a place in the semi-finals of the FA Youth Cup.
And contributing to that massive victory was Emile Smith-Rowe who curled home a magnificent free-kick just outside the box.
It was a sublime effort from the promising youngster on a night where Arsenal fans were left feeling a little encouraged about the club’s future.
