GOAL: Arsenal star scores for national team
Olivier Giroud took several games to end his goal-scoring drought earlier this month, but he cannot stop scoring now.
The Frenchman finished the season with four goals in the last two games, netting a hattrick against Aston Villa on the final day of the campaign.
After Karim Benzema’s omission from the France squad for Euro 2016, Giroud, who was booed today by fans, has become his country’s main striker for the upcoming tournament.
But with a coolly taken goal a few moments ago in the friendly against Cameroon, the 29-year-old appears to be ready to answer his critics.
