Following the return to action of Mesut Ozil this week, the Gunners have been handed another injury boost in midfield ahead of the clash with Qarabag in the Europa League on Thursday night.

Unai Emery’s men have now put together a superb 21-game unbeaten run in all competitions, following the two defeats which they suffered against Manchester City and Chelsea respectively at the start of the campaign.

Over the weekend, the Gunners were tested by a very stubborn Huddersfield Town side at the Emirates stadium as a late goal from Lucas Torreira saved their blushes in a very tough affair in the Premier League.

Key midfielder Aaron Ramsey was not able to feature in that game due to an injury he had suffered a few days earlier in the 2-2 draw against Manchester United.

The Welshman, who is set to leave the club at the end of the season, has been troubled by injuries for much of his career in north London.

However, much to the relief of most fans, Ramsey has been confirmed as fit to play ahead of the clash with Qarabag in the Europa League on Thursday.

“Fit and has returned to full training following ankle injury.” an official update from the club said on Wednesday.
