Arsenal manager Unai Emery has been given a boost ahead of the trip to Southampton on Sunday afternoon, with one of his attacking midfielders proving that he is indeed fit to make his return in the Premier League.
Unai Emery will be hoping his side’s unbeaten run in all competitions is extended to 23 games on Sunday as they face Southampton, who are currently battling against possible relegation.
One man who has not been able to feature in recent games is Mesut Ozil, a player whose relationship with Emery has been questioned by certain fans.
The former Real Madrid star is yet to play in the Premier League so far in December, having made his last appearance as a mere option on the bench in the game against Bournemouth.
However, ahead of the trip to Southampton, Ozil has updated fans through social media that he is indeed fit to play and make his Premier League return on Sunday….
