‘He hasn’t been good enough’ – Some fans attack Arsenal star after United draw
Some Arsenal fans took to social media to react to the performance of the man who featured in goal for the Gunners in the 2-2 draw with Manchester United on Wednesday evening.
The Gunners were buoyed by a magnificent 4-2 victory over local rivals Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday after staging a dramatic comeback in the second half of the game which saw them score three goals in quick fashion.
Thus, many considered Unai Emery’s men to be favourites ahead of the clash against Manchester United who have been in poor form in recent weeks.
However, even though the Gunners took the lead on two occasions, a pair of comical errors at the back saw the away side gift Manchester United an equalizer only moments after scoring.
The game saw Bernd Leno feature in goal as he looked to keep his first clean sheet in the Premier League since moving to Arsenal.
And after failing to deny Jose Mourinho’s men a goal, some Arsenal fans took to social media to question the quality of Leno.
Unpopular Opinion: Bernd Leno is such an unreliable goalkeeper! Don’t fancy him being the long term option we need!

Bernd Leno three high profile errors vs Pool/Spurs/United. We have bigger problems but like I predicted he's just another Karius.

Bernd Leno needs to do better. Three goals due to errors from him.

I don't really like Bernd Leno. Really needs to up his game otherwise find a keeper that doesn't fall asleep in a game away from home due to inactivity.
