It is now safe to say that a majority of the Arsenal faithful have reached a new level of frustration with Theo Walcott.

The 0-0 draw against Southampton saw Arsenal drop to fourth place, only a month after beginning 2016 as league leaders.

Walcott had played a part in Arsenal’s surge to the Premier League summit as his form kept Olivier Giroud on the bench at the start the of season.

But after a string of games without a telling contribution, the England international fired more blanks off the bench on Tuesday as his golden chance saw Frasier Forster produce another save.

Even though the 26-year-old was not entirely culpable for Arsenal’s fourth Premier League game without victory, the fans on social media had no kind words for Theo after the final whistle.
