The performance of at least one of the men in Arsenal’s defensive department left many fans frustrated on Tuesday.

It only took about 15 minutes after kick-off for Arsene Wenger’s side to trail 2-0 after a successful set-piece and a swift move saw Ludogorets score two early goals

It was a much different type of luck for Arsenal in comparison to what occurred in the first meeting with the Bulgarian side where they struck the woodwork and failed to score at the Emirates stadium.

However, the Gunners managed to ensure that conceding those goals did not prove costly as efforts from Granit Xhaka, Olivier Giroud and Mesut Ozil all found the net to secure a dramatic 3-2 victory.

David Ospina was back in goal for Arsenal at the Vasil Levski stadium as Wenger continued his goalkeeper rotation in the Champions League.

And despite his saves, the manner in which the Colombian dealt with set-pieces did not impress too many fans.
