A bunch of Arsenal supporters aired their views on social media about more midfielders after the defeat away to West Ham in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
Unai Emery once again decided to make changes to the team which played in the FA Cup last weekend as the Gunners visited West Ham in the Premier League.
Still in the starting eleven on Saturday was Matteo Guendouzi, a player whom most of the fans had praises for during the early months of the season.
The young midfielder is enjoying more playing time than he probably expected to receive when he moved to the Emirates stadium back in the summer transfer window.
But Saturday’s clash with West Ham was another away day to forget as the Gunners suffered a 1-0 loss courtesy of a goal which was conceded very early in the second half of the game.
After the final whistle, several fans took to social media to complain about the performance of Guendouzi…

Guendouzi will be a good player soon but right now he shouldn't be starting for us. Once again he looked bang average today.

Guendouzi is a good talent but he shouldn't be getting this many minutes for Arsenal. He's not that good right now.

You can see Guendouzi's talent but we're essentially asking him to run our midfield and he's not Fabregas-level

I like #Guendouzi but he's overhyped and overplayed. It's not his fault the manager is expecting a 19 yo, who last season was playing in the French 2nd division to play consistently at the highest level. Guendouzi is going to have a massive future and hopefully it's with #afc
