‘He’ll be our new manager soon’: Some fans believe this man will be new Arsenal boss after Wednesday’s events
Some Arsenal fans now believe one man is highly likely to take over as the new Arsenal manager in the event of Unai Emery being sacked after Wednesday’s decision from Tottenham Hotspur to appoint Jose Mourinho as their next boss.
The fact that Arsenal have continued to back under-pressure boss Unai Emery despite the team’s turbulent start to the season has puzzled a majority of the fan base.
Following a woeful run in the Premier League, Arsenal are at least eight points behind a place in the top four with some tricky fixtures to come next month.
Rivals Tottenham Hotspur’s decision to sack Mauricio Pochettino yesterday was followed by another big move which saw them appoint Jose Mourinho as their new manager on Wednesday morning.
Spurs’ dramatic week of bold decisions means Pochettino, who was nominated for the ‘Manager of the Year’ award by FIFA, is now up for grabs.
And for some Arsenal fans, there is now a great chance of the ex-Tottenham boss being hired by the Gunners…
With Spurs picking Mourinho, that leaves only Pochettino available now. He'll be our new manager soon. #COYG #EmeryOut

Mourinho to Spurs. Pochettino to Arsenal. Emery to West Ham. Let’s do this properly.

#Pochettino second favourite at 6/1 to become next #Arsenal manager, behind Arteta at 3/1 I'd take that all day!

If Peter Hill-Wood and David Dein were still at Arsenal, Pochettino would have been our coach by the end of week.
