‘He’s finished, Get rid of him now’: Certain fans bash Arsenal star after draw

A number of Arsenal fans have taken to social media to share their frustration over the performances of a few players as the Gunners settled for a draw yet again in the Premier League on Saturday.

Arsenal went into the clash Sheffield United, knowing that there was a good chance of moving level on points with bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur, who drew 0-0 away at Watford in the early kick-off.

Mikel Arteta kept faith in most of the players who started last week in the draw against Crystal Palace, with Mesut Ozil once again retaining his spot as the chief attacking midfielder in the starting eleven.

The former Real Madrid star, who was kept out of the team for much of Unai Emery’s reign, has been working on improving his displays under new boss Arteta.

However, after watching him feature in the draw against Sheffield United, several Arsenal fans took to social media to slam the midfielder…

Genuine question, is Ozil even a goal threat at all anymore ? I understand goals has never really been his main forte but he used to at least get a few a season. Now he barely ever even shoots at goal.

I think Ozil is doing his best but it's obvious that he's no longer creative as he once was. At this moment in time, his best is certainly not good enough. We need to move on from him as soon as possible.

Where are the Arsenal fans that said we need Ozil in the team for creativity and why aren't they explaining themselves? Emery was CORRECT to let him sit and rot.
