Piers Morgan honestly reacted to the performance of the Gunners’ chief playmaker during the clash with AFC Bournemouth at the Emirates stadium on Wednesday night.

Arsenal manager Unai Emery once again decided to rotate much of his team after watching them comfortably dispatch Southampton at home on Sunday afternoon.

Emery’s changes saw some of the players who featured in the win over BATE Borisov return to the starting eleven as the Gunners looked to keep their place in the top four of the Premier League.

One of the players who was back in the side was Mesut Ozil, a man often left out of the squad this season.

The former Real Madrid star made a huge difference in the game in the first half alone as he opened the scoring with a lovely chipped effort before setting up Arsenal’s second goal.

That saw Piers Morgan honestly admit that Ozil is indeed a frustrating player who is hot today and then cold tomorrow.

The midfielder has occasionally produced moments of brilliance like he did on Wednesday but he has also been criticised on several occasions for failing to make an impact in games.
