Rob Holding has revealed what was going through his head after Diego Costa scored the equalizer on Saturday.

Holding was making his first ever appearance in a major cup final after a promising debut season since joining from Bolton.

And even though Arsenal managed to repel the threat of Chelsea for much of the game, Costa somehow beat David Ospina with just over ten minutes left.

According to Holding, that is when he feared the game might even be decided by penalty kicks.

“When they scored and I was diving in front to try and block it, I saw it drop in and I thought,’This is going to be tough now, they’ve got something to hold onto as they’re one man down’.” the defender said

“I thought they’d try to keep it at 1-1 and take it to penalties, but luckily we hit them straight away and that’s probably the best time for us to get a winner, which we ended up doing with Rambo.”
