Several Arsenal supporters took to Twitter to share their views on the performance of Unai Emery’s midfield chief in the draw against Watford on Sunday. 

Arsenal were winless in two games, heading into the trip to Watford over the weekend as a few players from the first team squad returned from international duty.

The Gunners have not always enjoyed their trips to Vicarage Road but the fact that Aubameyang was able to score twice in the first half of the game calmed the nerves of the away fans.

It appeared to be a routine victory on the cards for Emery’s men as they held a comfortable lead at half-time, but a lethargic performance after the restart saw them lose control.

And talking of control, Granit Xhaka was handed the task of helping Arsenal control the midfield battle but things simply did not work the way they should have as Watford made a late comeback.

And after watching Xhaka fluff his lines in midfield again, some fans expressed their anger on social media…
