The Emirates stadium might still be the home for one of Arsenal’s loanees despite reports suggesting otherwise.
Arsene Wenger has opted to send out a host of second-string players on loan in recent transfer windows.
And one of them is Wojciech Szczesny who has spent the last two seasons on a temporary spell with AS Roma.
However, with rumours claiming he is unlikely to return to Arsenal this summer, the 26-year-old insists he still has a strong connection with his parent club.
“I don’t know where I’ll play next season,” Szczesny said, as quoted by the Express
“London is still my home, I’m playing for Roma but I’m an Arsenal fan. I watch they’re games, sometimes I’m sad and other times happy.
“The last year-and-a-half in Italy hasn’t exactly been the worst of my life, now I’ve got another four months with Roma and I’m focused on my performance.
“I’m thinking about playing well, not where I’ll play.” he added
“Borussia Dortmund or Napoli? That’s just speculation, all I know is that the better I play, the more options I’ll have.
The declining form of Petr Cech in recent weeks has seen some fans call for Szczesny to return to the Emirates stadium this summer.
