Arsenal have received another injury boost with Hector Bellerin now set to return to training.
The 20-year-old has missed the Gunners’ last two matches after suffering a slight groin injury ahead of the Champions League trip to Bayern Munich last week.
After withdrawing from his country’s under-21 squad ahead of the international break, Bellerin traveled to Spain this week for an award ceremony after being named the Catalan Young Player of the year.
According to various reports, the defender has now been cleared to resume training next week ahead of a fitness test on Thursday when the rest of the Arsenal squad returns from international duty.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who is also aiming to be fit for next weekend’s Premier League clash with West Brom, is running again after two weeks of being sidelined by a hamstring problem.
The likes of Francis Coquelin, Mesut Ozil and Per Mertesacker (retired) who have not been involved with their national teams have all taken part in training sessions at London Colney.
