Hector Bellerin posts update after serious setback
Injured Arsenal star Hector Bellerin shared his post-surgery photos with fans after the serious injury he suffered in the clash with Chelsea on Saturday evening.
The Gunners were in action on Saturday at the Emirates stadium as they welcomed top four rivals Chelsea.
Back in the starting eleven for the first in several weeks was Hector Bellerin, a player who had been sorely missed by Arsenal, especially in the defeat away to Liverpool last month.
Bellerin was actually having a very good game for the Gunners until he suffered a serious knee injury during the second half.
The Spanish defender looked very concerned as he was withdrawn from the game and his fears were sealed on Tuesday as the club confirmed he would miss the rest of the season.
Having undergone surgery on his left knee – a procedure which he will take nine months to recover from – Bellerin took to Twitter to update the fans with some pictures and also send out an uplifting message…
There are no obstacles in life you can't get over. Been a difficult couple of days but I'm positive and ready to take whatever challenge comes my way. Thank you so much for the love and messages, you are incredible ❤ pic.twitter.com/onwrMvIKui
