Arsene Wenger has expressed his concerns over the fitness of Alexis Sanchez ahead of the Premier League clash with Nowrwich City.

No Arsenal player has been more involved in football action than the Chile international since the started of the current season.

And after playing two games in four days since returning from international duty in South America, Wenger has revealed Sanchez will have to be monitored.

According to the Arsenal boss, the 26-year-old, who scored a brace against Dinamo Zagreb on Tuesday, has shown signs of a hamstring problem ahead of the trip to Norwich City.

“Spontaneously it might not be the best moment to rest Alexis, but I don’t know. He had a little hamstring alarm, but we will see how he recovers from that.” Wenger said

Despite Sanchez’s willingness to play through the pain, hamstring injuries are often the result of over-running or fatigue for most football players.

The Gunners now have Aaron Ramsey and potentially Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain back from injury but Wenger has revealed there is a new injury concern with Joel Campbell.

“Joel Campbell had a little calf problem so I will assess all that on Friday, and at the latest Saturday.

Both Alexis Sanchez and Joel Campbell were present in Arsenal’s first-team training session today but the duo will face a fitness test ahead of the trip to Carrow Road.
