Jenkinson: I won’t be supporting Arsenal
Carl Jenkinson has revealed that he will not be supporting his parent club when they meet West Ham again this season.
The Arsenal right-back is enjoying a second year on loan with the Hammers after agreeing to resume his spell in East London in July.
Jenkinson has had an eventful 2015/16 season so far after playing in goal against Leicester, receiving a red card against Bournemouth before scoring two goals in recent weeks.
The 23-year-old is becoming a fans’ favourite at Upton Park and the right-back has reiterated his commitment to Slaven Bilic’s side by insisting that he would even cheer for his current team in a clash against Arsenal.
Due to Premier League regulations, Jenkinson will sit out the Gunners’ trip to West Ham in April, but as a spectator, the defender will not be backing the away side.
“I’m a boyhood Arsenal fan but I’m playing for West Ham this season and when West Ham play Arsenal I want West Ham to win.” he said.

Arsenal’s return match against West Ham will be significant to Arsene Wenger’s men as they pursue revenge for a 2-0 opening day defeat to the Hammers.
“It was a fantastic result and I’m sure even the boys would have been a bit shocked at that one.” Jenkinson added
“Going to the Emirates and winning 2-0 doesn’t happen that often. But it got us off to a great start.”
Despite West Ham’s offer to seal a permanent transfer for Jenkinson, the former Charlton man signed a contract extension with the Gunners before departing for his second loan spell.

He is stupid to make such comments. He could not grab his chances when wenger gave him chance. He is only good to score own goals
he is very stupid to have made such comments. Arsenalfc doesn’t need such kind of low class players who cannot make good interceptions, clearances, good defending etc. Take a proper look at our own Bellerin who the boss gave a chance due to Debuchy’s injury and Belle is if not the best then one of the best in the epl today but on the other hand, Jekinson was signed to replace ebuoe who just departed arsenal for another club but Jekinson fails to establish himself even as a backup. If i were Arsene i ‘ll sell him at the end of this season!
a player like him is good for small team not champion league team like arsenal
The lads above are bit precious, aren’t they? As for ‘own goals’ comment, he’s just scored 2 in 2 at the right end for West Ham!
calm down everyone. Jenks is an Arsenal fan whos just telling his current employers fans what they want to hear. he loves Arsenal but West Ham feed his family at the moment. thats all. he also knows if West Ham get into Europe hell be playing against better players and so hell become a better player. This will ultimately help Arsenal.
You are on point Marco
Jenks is a good player, what he needs is concentration and consistency in performance. He’s to grow his talent mentally and physically. Competition was there is here and will be there,he should admit that.
Jenks needed to buy the chance of playing against his mother club
Is a good player but he needs 2 learn 4rm bellerin
JEK PLAYS GOOD FOR WEST HAM AND GOOD RESULT ARE COMING IN FOR NOW, THAT’S WHAT GAVE HIM MIND TO SPEAK ANY HOW. A TIME COMES SOON WHEN HIS HEAD WILL BE BOW.LET HIM ASK RICHARDS, THE POOR GUY’S GOT LITTLE TO SAY ABT SOCCER
It is understandable Jack but do you need to comment?
you need to learn more Jenkinson. be careful of your stupid absurd comment.
We don’t need your support Jenks and you can stay at West Ham as well lol
