Journalist reveals 24-year-old is also back in Arsenal training before Man United game
Journalist Charles Watts has revealed that one of the Gunners injury-prone defenders was also able to train with the Arsenal squad ahead of Wednesday’s Premier League fixture.
The Gunners have had terrible luck with injuries over the past decade and things have certainly not improved with the team currently in crisis as they sit outside of the top half of the Premier League table.
Rob Holding is one of the players who have barely featured for the Gunners this season, after the major setback he suffered a year ago which saw him spend several months out due to a knee ligament damage.
The 24-year-old was left out of the squad which faced Chelsea on Sunday, after sustaining another setback as he pushes for a return to the starting eleven.
However, ahead of the clash with Manchester United, journalist Charles Watts has revealed Holding was part of Tuesday’s training session and the news is certainly a boost for Mikel Arteta, who is now missing Calum Chambers.
Xhaka, Holding, Martinelli Sokratis and Ceballos all involved in full training today at Colney.
